One source of truth for stock and customers, online and in store

We connect e-commerce, store stock, and customer data so promises on the website match what is on the shelf.

Retailers come to DigitalA2Z when online and offline have become two businesses that argue. The website sells what the store does not have. Loyalty is a stamp card. Purchase orders are late because nobody trusts the number. We connect catalogue, stock, and orders, and we build the customer view that lets you serve someone who bought online and walked in yesterday. We prefer a truthful catalogue over a theatrical storefront.

Challenges in retail

Stock disagrees with the website

Cancellations teach customers not to trust you.

Each channel has its own customer list

You cannot see a person, only an order.

Marketplace, store, and site are reconciled by a person

That person is now the bottleneck and the single point of failure.

Promotions are tribal

Cashiers invent discounts. Margin disappears.

Returns are a fight

No one can see the original order across channels.

Notes on records, access, and rollout

  • Prices and offers on the site must match what you will honour in store, or the difference must be stated.
  • Customer data for loyalty is collected with a purpose you can explain.
  • Marketplace rules are treated as constraints, not optional fine print.

We often freeze a SKU subset for the first go-live rather than the whole catalogue. Stores that will not follow a process are not included in wave one just to make a slide look complete.

Questions

Do you build on Shopify or a custom stack?

We use a commerce platform when it fits. Custom is for the operational layer platforms will not do. Discovery chooses.

Can you connect our POS?

When the POS has a supported integration or export. Some older tills cannot. We will not pretend they can.

What about quick commerce and marketplaces?

Those channels have their own SLAs. We scope them as real work, not a plugin checkbox.

Will this work for a single store?

A strong website and honest stock may be enough. Multi-store inventory is for when the pain is already real.
