Build · mobile app development company
An app people will actually open after week one
We build mobile apps around a job: ordering, tracking, booking, or reporting — not around a feature list copied from a competitor.
Mobile app development for a business only pays off if someone uses it every week. DigitalA2Z starts with the job: who opens the app, what they need to finish, and what happens if they cannot. We then design the smallest product that does that job on iOS and Android, with a login model, data rules, and a support path you can live with. You get a build plan with phases, so the first release is useful rather than a catalogue of unfinished ideas.
- First release
- One job, done well
- Typical duration

Is this you?
The idea is a pile of features
Every department wants a screen. The first version never ships, or ships as something nobody finishes using.
Staff already work on WhatsApp and Excel
An app that duplicates those habits without removing a step will be ignored.
Stores, payments, and notifications were an afterthought
Launch day is when you discover accounts, certificates, and review delays.
Nobody planned updates
OS versions move. A one-off vendor leaves you with a binary you cannot change.
What we build
- Product brief: users, jobs, and a cut-line for version one
- Interface design for the core flows, tested on real phone sizes
- iOS and Android build, or a shared codebase when that is the honest choice
- Admin tools so your team can see users, orders, or tickets without us
- Store listing copy, icons, and a launch checklist
- Handover of accounts, source, and how to ship a fix
How it helps the business
A first version that can be used
We protect a short list of jobs so the app is not a graveyard of half-built screens.
Fewer calls for status updates
Customers or staff check the app instead of messaging someone who then checks a spreadsheet.
A path to version two
Analytics and a backlog sit next to the live app, so the next spend is based on use, not opinions.
What’s included
- Discovery and written product cut-line
- Design for primary flows
- Build, device testing, and store submission support
- Crash and basic usage reporting
- Training for the internal owner
Timeline. A focused first version typically takes 8–16 weeks after the cut-line is approved. Hardware, payments, or regulated data add time.
What moves the investment
Cost is confirmed after discovery, in writing. We do not publish hourly rates. These are the usual drivers:
- Number of distinct user types (customer, staff, manager)
- Offline use, maps, payments, or device hardware
- Existing systems the app must talk to
- App Store and Play Console setup from scratch

Questions
Do I need both iOS and Android on day one?
Usually yes if your users are mixed. If one audience is clearly dominant, we can sequence platforms. We will not hide that cost to win the job.
Can you convert our website into an app?
A wrapped website is rarely a good app. If the job is simple content, a well-built mobile site may be enough. If people need to act, we build real screens.
Who owns the Apple and Google accounts?
You do. We help you create them and keep access documented. Publisher accounts should not sit in a freelancer’s personal email.
What about ongoing store updates?
Support retainers cover OS changes, crash fixes, and small improvements. Without that, the app will age.
